Wondering how to change your address in Aadhaar card without any documentary proof or address validation letter? Do you wish to update the address on your Aadhaar card? If your Aadhaar card still carries your old address then don’t get worried. The UIDAI has introduced a new way with which you can change the address of your and your family members. A lot of times, people move to other places because of education and work.
UIDAI in a tweet has said that you can change your address easily by using an address validation letter. The UIDAI has also added that a person can also update the address of his family members by sitting at home.
Change your address without a need for any address proof
If you do not have proof of your current address, you can still change the address by visiting the UIDAI website. You will have to apply for an address validation letter with the organisation. After completing this formality, a letter will be sent at your new address which will bear a secret code. You can then use that code to change your address in the Aadhaar card.
With the address validation facility, you can update the address of your family members, relatives, landlord or a friend.
